I started practicing long after some friends insisted I should try.  I constantly refused and it was only after they left the country that I finally decided to listen to them!  A month of regular practice was enough to realize the wonders of this discipline and I completely fell in love with it.  It helped me with my studies immediately, by improving my focus and energy levels.   Better yet, it somehow filled me with a great sense of joy.  Now that I’m teaching, I’m enjoying a completely different aspect of this yoga; witnessing the wonders it does for my students, everyday.  Basically, Bikram Yoga is like a happy pill with NO side effects!
