In Bikram yoga, meditation is the key to a mindful and strong practice. Feeling comfortable in your clothing directly affects your ability to meditate. The unique nature of the fabric we have produced in the Sohot Clothing range is almost magic. 
Obtaining a comfortable and breathable fabric is one thing; finding one that is also antibacterial, durable, flexible and doesn’t become see-through when stretched drenched in sweat, is a whole different story.  We knew we could not use LYCRA® because we have found that clothes made with LYCRA® over time become see through when wet.  We also knew the antibacterial properties must be natural and not from silver nanoparticles, due to the health & environmental concerns surrounding nanoparticles.

After an intensive 18 months of research we wondered if we had dreamt the impossible and that maybe we had to lower our expectations.  But then, having finally tracked down the right high-end textile manufacturer, in a small town in Portugal, we now have the best fabric for hot yoga ever worn.

Then came the design. Using our own studios as the hot bed for testing, over a 12 months period, we tweaked and changed the designs. With fantastic input from you our members, we now have a truly amazing range. A range you feel comfortable in. A range to meditate in. A range to fulfill 90-minutes of intense hot yoga.
