Luka has always been a stress head. She has always loved the stressful life, always adding more onto her plate than she could possibly chew at the best of times. She moved to London to pursue a career in drama at The Central School of Speech and Drama. When she found her busy schedule still wasn’t enough she then added a full time bar job into the equation. After slowly developing a beer belly, someone told her about Bikram Yoga as a sure fire way to lose weight so she added this into her busy schedule as well! From the first class she was hooked; she began practicing regularly straight away (on average 5 days a week). She found she was gaining so much more from the practice than just the weight loss. She could handle stress in her life a lot better, her sleep patterns improved and her mind appeared to slow down in a positive way; she could walk in a park and actually notice the beauty of her surroundings rather than juggling the fifteen thoughts occupying her headspace at one time. From that moment, she knew that after she had finished drama school she wanted a life teaching yoga. She graduated Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in Spring 2013 and has been loving life ever since.
