I was first introduced to Bikram yoga in 2005 by my work colleague after I relocated from Hong Kong to London. I am Slovak/Hungarian by origin and I instantly liked the heat as London felt so cold. I have never seen so many people sweating like there is no tomorrow and turning and twisting themselves into poses I never imagined possible.

As Bikram says “yoga you don’t do - yoga you try”. Try to the best of your willingness and abilities. I constantly remind my students that each practice and each posture requires tremendous concentration and determination but most importantly a huge amount of patience. Improvements come in small doses. I believe that we often have a strength to heal (mentally and physically) ourselves from within.
