Week 1 is over. It may not feel like it but you're over the worst. Week 2 is about momentum, it's about riding that wave. Sylvester Stallone said "I’m not the richest, smartest, or most talented person in the world but I succeed because I keep going and going and going..."

Most of the craving for sugar and wheat will have now started to subside. The addictive phase is over, now is about habit.

Week 2 is about dealing with that voice in your head saying "you deserve a treat", or “just 1 croissant won't do me any harm"

You never want to crush your thoughts; you just need to moderate it.

As I have said before I am here to answer your questions. That’s why I decided to do a question and answer.

I’m going to answer some of your questions.

Question:

I am not maybe well Convinced that natural fruit as part of a healthy, balanced diet and an active lifestyle is bad, I love fruit, what is your thoughts about that?

Answer:

Fruit is not a bad thing, Fruit is great. Fruit is full of healthy stuff. It’s full of phytonutrients and anti-oxidants and fiber and stuff. I eat fruit every day. It is good but not in large quantities.

Question:

What about Dates? I know they are very sweet but surely they are better than chocolate and full of nutrients.

Answer:

Transition yourself with natural sugars but the real goal is for 30 days to cut the sugar out, so don't go searching for alternative. Lose the addiction.

Let’s change your relationship with food, let’s change your taste buds and start tasting the sugars in spinach and broccoli. And when you do have a piece of Christmas cake it would be like a bomb has gone off in your mouth.

Question:

What’s the deal on coffee, a bit worried about doing all that the same time as sugar and wheat?

Answer:

Coffee is ok, as with everything don't go mad.

I love Bullet-Proof coffee. Basically it’s an Americano with 2 table spoons of butter and 2 table spoons of MCT Oil.

Just wondering if anyone eats fermented veg?

Answer:

Fermented Veg is great. It’s the best probiotics. They feed those good bugs. The biggest movements in the world of nutrition’s are ensuring that the hundred trillion micro-organisms that live inside you are basically happy.

But there is a but! If you consume sugar, the bad bugs rule the roost! (10:19)You have to get the sugar out of your diet first otherwise there is no point taking pro-biotics.

All the research on neuro plasticity shows just how important going out for a walk out in the open is. Just the act of walking helps stimulate new neurons, helping the body to destress.
